This is a cake that I made my Grandmother, affectionately called BB, for Mothers day years ago, with the assistance of my own mother on Flowers. The flowers are royal icing and buttercream leaves. We made the cattails on spaghetti noodles, and the grasses on floral wires, piped with royal. It was a scratch chocolate cake with pecan filling and chocolate buttercream basketweave.
