Well, this was my final cake in the Wilton Class.. I couldnt understand why my roses looked so awful, well I found out from my instructor that I used the wide part of the tip for the top.. live and learn ! lol I'm also having a really hard with my icing.. it gets so soft ! any suggestions?
Your icing is soft possibly because you have added too much liquid. Try thinning it slowly. A slightly thinner/smooth frositing is easier to apply to the cake when frosting the cake, but a medium consistancy is good for decorating. Good Luck! :)
