I made this cake 6 years ago for my hubbys 25th bday...how much better I have gotten lol... It was made from the horseshoe pan, cut and reattached like a winding road. Hes a city boy and we moved to my hometown...he married a country girl, so this cake was his welcome-ing in! I used buttercream and toys to decorate. The "dirt" was brown sugar and crushed pecans and the trees of course were buttercream on ice cream cones!
