This is a cake I did for the San Diego Cake Club contest in March 2007. Each scale is individually cut a placed. I took 2nd place in the sculpted category.

This is sooo fabulous! I just can't believe it! how on earth? Is it all cake or is part rice krispy? How did you do the wings? It's so spectacular! I don't know what could've topped it!

Wow this is fantastic love the colour of the dragon and the rock is awesome... did you use an airbrush at all? love to have seen you while you were making this one :o)

I can't believe you only got 2nd! I teach middle school and my kids read this book. I just want you to know that they would DIE over this cake. It is incredible!!

The base is 30 inches long. The wings are 32 inches long from tip to tip. The actual wingspan is 64 inches. Glad you all like it!

WOW!!!! My niece wants a dragon cake and i have volunteered to make her cake. When I saw this one I was almost afraid to show it to her because i knew she would love it and i dont have that kind of skill. That cake is gorgeous, how did you make those wings?
