Rolled buttercream is different than regular buttercream. It drapes over the cake like fondant, but is a different texture and taste. I mixed the rolled buttercream with the fondant to give it more strength since the rolled buttercream wouldn't hold up as well by itself in the heat.

Pretty cake, how did you prepare the buttercream in order to drape it? I'm new and draping looks so difficult to me I haven't tried it yet.
