Ribbon Of Mulit-Coloured Stripes In Fondant
The couple had such beautiful shades of pinks and greens for their wedding that I wanted to showcase that subtlely on their cake. Found a cake design online (I will try to find out the designer to credit them!!) that used this technique on fondant with royal icing, so we copied that look on buttercream instead.
Sometimes I look at your cakes and want to get married again just to have one of 'em!
Gorgeous!
Antonia! Every thumbnail of yours out there -- I pick to look at. This is great - simple and elegant. I love it.
So pretty! and the orchids are lovely (I'm a sucker for orchids!)

Absolutely gorgeous! How do you get your buttercream so perfect???
BEAUTIFUL! Once again, how did you get the BC so smooth???!
It's Italian Meringue buttercream, smooth and silky to work with. Just a bit of practice and it's the easiest, smoothest way to achieve a great finish with a whipped icing.
gorgeous cake!
very cute
I love it! The stripes remind me of elegant little tiles. Into the favs!
