This was almost a complete disaster. The fondant strips were too heavy for the chocolate ganache covering the cake. Last minute we decided to paint the edges of the drum on with super pearl luster dust. I woodburned the drumsticks the night before the wedding. The cake is 10" scratch chocolate cake using Nestle's recipe, and Emeril's chocolate ganache for the covering. The cake was crumb coated with rasberry flavored buttercream. Everyone LOVED the taste of this cake, super moist!
