Andrea's Wedding Cake

2 tier round cake for a small wedding. Buttercream icing with strawberry filling and edible pearls. The bride wanted a very simple cake!

Just beautiful! Do you mind tell what you use to ice with? Paper towel, spatula upside method? I have been using towel method, but for rounds it doesnt' give that perfect flat top and round edges you have.

I smooth with a plaster scraper and then a viva paper towel. The paper towel works best on a good crusting buttercream that has barely crusted. Try letting your cake sit for about 10 minutes and then smooth.
