Actual 3/4 scale of the grooms prized washburn bass he named "Rudy." The body is a single layer full sheet that was trimed in to the shape of the guitar, The neck is sytrofoam. Everything is covered with fondant and painted with edable paint. All the knobs, swithes and pick-ups are fondant with tylose so they would stiffen up. The silver strings are secured with 1/8" dowes, This was a labor intensive grooms cake. We had a blast!
