My First Purse Cake
This was a 'thank you' gift for someone I know. I loved making this cake. It was so much fun. I made the lipstick and compact out of gumpaste and fondant, the purse is butter cake with chocolate IMBC and covered with fondant. I think I'll have to make a few more in different styles! This was an easy and fast project. Something is wrong with my camera - couldn't get a sharper picture.

Awesome work especially for a first. Did you have molds for the makeup? They look structured?
I used pre-colored Satin Ice: ivory, black and red. I used white gumpaste and tinted the powder puff and inside of the compact. It is all scupted freehand, no molds. Thanks for looking.
