I really don't have a pattern, I just tried...stacked three cakes, getting smaller in size, then carved and frosted to look like a turkey breast. Then I carved the legs and wings out of another cake. I wish I had more specifics, but I just gave it a try and it turned out pretty good. Oh...I frosted it with white buttercream, then made a thin glaze out of powdered sugar and milk, tinted it brown, then "painted" it on the cake.
That is SO darn cute! And thank you for your directions -- I truly will have to make it this year for Turkey Day. We are all vegetarians, so it's an inside joke that nobody ever gets to eat turkey here -- they'll LOVE it to see a Turkey Cake, though! Love it.
