My first Whimsical Cake.

i had so much fun working on this cake...this cake was made for my friend's daughter...she wanted me to match the cake with the invitation card. It was an American Girl -Pajama Jam birthday party.

This is one of the best ones I've seen. I like that it's only 2 tier. I wanted to make one, but I was scared a 2 tier wouldn't look as good as the bigger ones. You did a great job!

Love it! and the board too. I like to do art and always notice the boards that the cake goes on and I need to start doing that!

Hi beesting, I baked 3 cakes for each tier...stacked 'em on top of each other and chilled the cake and then carved it and then a nice coat of crumb coating...and then covered with MMF. Lemme know if you have any questions.

kaymak, thnx for your comment.I used a 20 guage wire and i didn't insert 'em indiviually in the cake...I actually inserted them in a disk of fondant and let the disk dry for several days you can see the yellow round piece of fondant where the wires go. :)
