My daughter-in-law is expecting twins and the shower theme is two peas in a pod. I want to do cupcakes with the pea pod and baby faces for the peas. Any suggestions? This is so adorable.
Using fondant was easy for me. And you can make ahead, which is really nice. I just used the Wilton fondant because I figured no one would be eating the babies, so the taste didn't matter. I used luster dust to make their cheeks pink. I used tooth picks to make the little eyes and mouth. I used water for glue to hold small pieces on and toothpicks inside of everything to hold it together.
