Wow that looks incredible did you just pour the chocolate and the confectioners down them all at once

Thanks, glad you liked it. It is a cake for the nervous chocoholics. It is made with a roll out chocolate sugarpate by Regalice so it doesn't melt. It has a matt finish, so the glaze just makes it look more like poured chocolate. Stable even on the hottest days

You can buy the edible glaze in a spray can or in a bottle which you paint on. In the UK we cal it Confectioners Glaze. I believe one of the edible sprays are called fabilo

notmymum, it is called chocolate flavoured regalice by Renshaws. On this cake I used the paint on, but I quite often use the glaze (Did it 3am before a Bridal Show)

One of the most effective cakes I've ever seen, brilliant.Looks like the chocolate fondue fountains! Where did you get the chocolate sugarpaste? I didn't know you could buy it in the UK so have always made my own. Did you use the paint on or the spray glaze on this cake?
