Easter Egg Chocolate Ganache & Buttercream Flowers

I made this cake for my DH to take to work, I wanted to try out my egg cake pan. He does not like Buttercream so much, so I made a lemon cake (1/2 the egg) covered it with Chocolate/Brandy Ganache and decorated it with little BC flowers. April 2007

I love this cake! i wanted to do a peanut butter egg coved in chocolate ganache...except i don't have an egg pan yet - hoping to get one on sale....

I saw them at target for $4 less than I purchase it at a cake store, oh well. Good luck

That is so pretty! I love how the borders and flowers stand out against the darkness of the ganache! What a great idea! And it sounds delicious too!!
