wow :D i've only made a topsy turvy cake using the topsy turvy pan...i want to make something like than in the future :D good thing you posted the pic for each layer:D

Yes. They are fondant balls with florist wire stuck through them.

How did you construct the top ornament? Are those fondant balls?

I love this cake. The tilt of each is great!! Do you find it is easier to use a cake pan for this or to just cut out?
