I LOVE IT!!! This would be perfect for my boss...we always get him a Starbucks gift certificate for every occasion this cake would be perfect!!

Thanks everyone, I HATED the orange and black but the man's wife said he like those colors best. The handle and the steam are fondant. The fondant steam is on toothpicks that was left on the counter overnight to harden. I hope my next attempt at this cake will look better than a halloween look :)

I love this cake...definitely something I could see making for my espresso-loving DH! How did you make the cup...glass pyrex bowl or half a ball pan? The colors look great, we're all our own worst critics! :)

yeah it was the half ball pan, I just carved a little off of the rounded top... I can't take credit for the idea, used ideas from off of CC....

That's fantastic. I like the touch of the rising steam! Great colors and beautiful borders!
