Thank you everyone! =) To answer a few of the questions - the corners are perfected (or get close anyway), by setting the cake in the fridge to firm-up, then adding more & carefully shaping with spatula's. Very time consuming! Same idea with smoothing the buttercream, use a hot spatula, usually dipped in boiling water, it took some time to get that technique down, but it works fairly well! The ribbon was real, and yes, I LOVED having that "free will" to decorate the cake! Thanks again everyone!
