Guitar Cake

New to working with fondant, took a bit of a learning curve. Used two 13" by 9" pans and one that was double the size. Sketching out the design first, cut out the pieces and then layered and glued them together with icing. Then used satin ice fondant and icing for the strings. If I had to make it again I would use a fondant extruder for the strings as the icing didn't come out super straight, and dried and cracked. I also realized I had left the "D" out in birthday (lol) but fixed it before the party thank g-d. The cake was 36" total (three feet) The fondant also cracked a little by the time I delivered it. Learned only afterwards about "gunge".
