Bowl Of Noodles Cake

Tiramisu cake inside the outer layers separating it from fondant. Chopsticks are real, the rest is fondant:gumpaste 1:1 mix.

There is a support under the noodles. The chopsticks were attached to the support (cake dowel) with thin florist wire (gauge #33), then the joint was fully covered in gumpaste and I let that dry first to be completely solid and stable, 2 days before making the cake. Then I just brushed the support and the gumpaste holding everything in place with egg white and attached "noodles". I used one of those sugar paste extruders to make the noodles.
