For my nieces 5th birthday, she wanted both Hello Kitty and Cinderella so I combined both themes into one design. Her party decor colors were lavender, purple and blue with silver accents. I loved how her cake turned out. Hello Kitty is about 6 inches high and modeled out of rice crispy treats and covered in a mix of modeling chocolate and Satin Ice Fondant. She had gone through a couple different dress designs before I settled on this one - LOL. The cake is a 6x5 inch chocolate cake covered in Satin Ice Fondant and quilted with lavender dragees/sugar pearls. My 8 year old daughter helped make the small, pink flower blossoms around the white swags and cake stand (she always has to help with something especially if the cake is for a close friend or family member). Tappits cutters were used for the lettering on the cake stand. Texture mats were used on some of the cupcake toppers and I hand modeled the bows. Cinderella-like 'glass slippers' were hand modeled out of white gumpaste dusted in pearl dust accented with a tiny bit of baby blue disco dust. Tiaras were hand cut and painted in silver dust. Frosting on cupcakes was sparkly with baby blue disco dust. Thanks for looking!
