Cake for the son of a friend. He's really into Pokemon, and his favorite is Mew. Mew is able to fly and generate force fields around himself, so I tried to decorate the cake to show this. Nine inch round strawberry cake with dark chocolate buttercream filling, covered in fondant. Clouds and lettering are also fondant. Mew is an action figure, and his force field is a candle votive turned upside down over him.
