My first attempts at covering cakes in fondant. Both minicakes are the same, homemade strawberry with strawberry american buttercream; the one on the left is covered in my own homemade buttercream fondant and the right is covered in buttercream Fondarific. My own fondant has a few kinks to work out in the recipe, which is why it looks so weird, but the Fondarific cake went AMAZINGLY! I am so proud!

Each cake is topped with a chocolate molded heart and the Fondarific cake is also embellished with a silver buttercream swirl and three folded fondant roses made from different brands of fondant (Wilton, my own, and Satin Ice).
