Halloween Birthday Cake For My Little Bear

I made this cake for my son's second birthday back in October 2014. The tiers are 8-inch and 6-inch, three layers each of fresh pumpkin cake, filled and iced with milk chocolate ganache, then coated with homemade marshmallow fondant. The cake was hand painted for an ombre effect. Spiderweb and bunting string were also hand painted. Pumpkins, bears, ghosts, topper, name plaque, and candy corn bunting are all hand made from gumpaste. The vampire bear is my favorite. =)
