What tip do you use to get this look and how do you get the last one to sit right ? I tried on a cake once and could not seem to get the right angle of the bag any help would be appreciated ?

Sorry I can't help you with this question as I use a 50% fondant / gumpaste mix for my ruffle cakes. I am not very good at buttercream and had the same problem as you. Good luck.
