This is the first 3D cake that I created. I made him 2 years ago Feb for my boyfriend's son's 9th birthday. Neither of them knew what I was doing so he was a surprise to both of them. They are both big Star Wars fans. Cody's reaction was priceless as he had the look on his face of "cool R2D2 but where is my cake?" lol

He is supported on a base made of MDF. The legs are built up using styrofoam & the body is all cake (cocoa banana cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting). Details are done in fondant & sugar paper. In total I probably spent 16hrs creating him!
