Simply stunning!

Beautiful cake!   Are you able to refrigerate cakes with gold leaf?  I have a perishable filling with there cake I am going to make and didn't know if I could refrigerate the gold leaf.   

I applied gold leaf at the last possible moment as I was nervous the fridge might affect the shine so not certain if it would deteriorate or not, I know hand painted cakes should not be refrigerated as when they are coming back to room temperature paint will run.   Hope it all works well for you,
