This is so beautiful and elegant!  Could you share info on what material you made the scales and ruffles out of?  Could it be edible wafer paper?  It's so beautifully transparent!  Then how did you get such beautiful iridescent colors on it?   Please share!  I'd like to try making that for my daughter's birthday.

I would also like to know if you used wafer paper.  It is a beautiful cake!
