I made this cake for the 2014 Washington State Cake Show. The corals are made from fondant and gum paste. Most were hand molded but I did use silicone molds for some of the bigger ones. The octopus is RKT and modeling chocolate, all molded by hand. The awesome pier cake stand was made 2 days before the show by my amazing hubby.
