I made this to try out a new cake an icing on friends at my former work place. They're my more than willing guinea pigs. It's french vanilla with dream whip icing. The icing was a little grainy when I made it but hope it's not when it's cut. The icing was also a little soft for the drop flowers but they came out okay. One of those things only the decorator knows. I took this after it was tented in plastic, to explain the shine.

Thank you all! Everyone loved it and a couple came back for seconds. The big boss even complimented me about it and he never does that, which makes me a little suspicious, lol. I won't use that mix again because it was too spongy and I think I did something wrong with the dream whip icing because I thought it was grainy. Anyone else have this problem with it. I don't know what I did wrong. I used Janz recipe/version.

Gosh, I don't remember which ones, just that I usually use my big drop flower tips and give them a twist. I love the affect.
