My latest project. Just wanted to try one for fun. I'd seen the one done by Sweetapolita a few years ago, but finally got around to trying it after seeing the one done by Way Beyond Cakes by Mayen. She actually made molds for the asparagus stalks (I bought her molds from her Etsy shop).

Four inch chocolate fudge cake with dark chocolate buttercream covered and decorated with fondant. Stalks are painted with powdered food coloring and some Everclear. Fun cake but very time consuming!
