I did this cake for my husband's grandmother's birthday. It's a double layer white cake with strawberry jam in between the layers. The cake is covered in buttercream icing with all of the flowers being made from buttercream. I used over 100 flowers on this cake. It's a variation of the "mom" cake from the wilton yearbook but instead of mom I put her age.
