Gracie's 1st Birthday Cake

This was for my daughter's 1st birthday - each tier is four layers of white cake, with chocolate buttercream in between and one middle layer of raspberry mousse. Then I covered each with white buttercream and marshmallow fondant tinted light pink. It's listing to the right a little, but shhhhh...it tasted great!

Pretty! My grandaughters would love the sparkles. Nice work!

Beautiful!! Just wondering because of the listing - did you use doweling and a board in between? I'm just learning stacked cakes and trying to figure this out myself.

Thanks! I did use dowels and a cake board under the top cake. Actually I believe the bottom cake is fine, but the top cake is just crooked (I probably could have turned this into a tipsy cake) It doesn't help that the photo is a bit crooked as well. I have other photos (taken from another viewpoint but farther away) that don't look as Titanic-ish!
