This was inspired by a dress from fashion designer Alexis Mabilles’ Spring 2013 collection. I wanted to try out new techniques and colours, my own wedding anniversary gave me the chance to try them out.

The dress had an ombré effect, frayed ruffle skirt which was my inspiration for the bottom tier. The middle tier is to look like striped chiffon. Also my first attempt at making orchids.
