This was a display cake for my sister's baby shower. She found a picture online and told me to recreate it. So I did...but better. Every animal and tree is made from gumpaste. I used fondant to make the giraffe spots and then painted over them to make them darker. I also painted the zebra pattern on the bottom tier. I used blue tinted piping gel for the water looking base. And please excuse the Whataburger cup. A bakers gotta eat.
