it's a flat plastic commercial smoother, like a trowel with curved up edges so that it won't dig in. I think it's a standard icing tool for fondant.

thanks! I'm delighted with the new icing smoother and turntable I have, and the logo took quite a while to transfer, using pinpricks thru a paper pattern (didn't have time to do a buttercream transfer)
