Lightsaber Star Wars

I made this 36 inches long Ligthsaber for my Friend son. I had asked him what type of handle he wanted and the color and everything and he was very pleased with the whole thing. I used 2 9X13 cakes cut in 3 lenghts & carved a little to get the right shape I covered it in B/C I had a small piece left and wrote Star Wars on it. (Cake from June 2005) (P.S. dont write on the board with just buttercream it slides off use gel instead or B/C mixed with clear gel(learned it the hard way!)

Was this a companion cake to Yoda or seperat. Great idea, light saber is my grandson's favorite toy!

It was for the brother of my Yoda cake a week later. Both June babies! Well you know! It was really easy to make for the transport to I put squewers in 7 spots & my friend just swapped them out for the candles. It was perfect.
