I made this for my daughter. She was in a pageant and she wanted this kind of cake. She won by the way. It's a light pink covered fondant pillow cake with a chocolate crown. Silver is luster dust.

Wow, that's beautiful!
I love the quilting, and the crown is fantastic!!
Very well done! I love the crown! GREAT color!! Congrats to your daughter too!!! Hurrah!!!
Great looking crown!
very cool...please explain what you did
I put wax paper around a vegetable can and then started drawing a crown with melted red chocolate. I let it dry then traced it again to make it thicker so it would hold. Then I used silver luster dust and painted it on there and let it dry. Waalaa. It was alot more simple then I thought.
Hey!! This is really cool!!! I love the silver with the red!! Great job!
Very creative. I'm going to keep this in my idea file. You never know when the opportunity will arise. This is why I love this site so much. It's so neat to share ideas. Thank you.
so where did ya get the idea? That is sooo cool!
Well this site has all kinds of crown on pillow cakes and my daughter likes to look at the cakes too and we seen one on here and she wanted me to make her one. So she has a upcoming beauty pageant and I thought I'd make her one. I told her if she doesn't win a crown she has a chocolate one at home. She said yeah and I can eat it. So tomorrow I am going to make the pillow for it. I'll post that when it's done. Thanks for all the nice comments.
great job on the cake and the crown is wonderful
