 Pearl And Fondant Smocking Cake On Buttercream  on Cake Central

This is the cake I was so frustrated about! In the end it turned out okay and actually looks pretty good in the picture but so many things about it frustrated me! Buttercream cracked terribly on tops of cakes (thank goodness for flowers!) And the pearl and smocking took much longer than I anticipated! So glad this one is over. This was fashioned somewhat after a design by Earlene Moore.

Beautiful. Can't to do my first. Just add a couple (2) drops of white vinegar to your buttercream. It helps prevent cracking. You won't taste
