Morning Glory Cake Finished
I putting this one in Mother's Day, although it's a birthday cake for my aunt who is turning 85. What mother or grandmother wou ldn't love some morning glories on her cake!! These are piped with royal. I also used royal lace points and royal bows. Everything else is buttercream. I know they aren't as impressive as the fondant cakes, but they are so relaxing and nice to do!!
I think it is very impressive. I also enjoy making royal icing flowers and designs.
This is a gorgeous cake and with those really cute morning glories will makes a perfect gift for anyone, and I'm sure she loved it! Because it's just beautiful!! ;-D

I think it is a lovely cake. The sleek fondant look is good sometimes but I still like a pretty buttercream with flowers kind of cake.
