Where The Wild Things Are

I actually started out trying to make that cute valentine's cake with the pink monster that says "wild thing" but that was a disaster. So I scraped off all the pink icing and tried to make this from the Childrens' book "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak (the birthday theme was "wild thing").

Thank you! It was pretty sloppy, but considering doing it twice, and since it was for my husband, it was okay. I just love that character.

That's great! My husband wants to know how you got the arms to stand out like that without falling off.

I used those white lollypop/sucker sticks as dowels inside the arms.
