Combination Happy Birthday/Farewell cake for the student teacher in my son's class.

Chocolate cake with fresh strawberries between the layers frosted with whipped cream frosting.

It's a pain to letter with whipped cream frosting... just sayin! And I couldn't get a smooth finish on the top to save my life, so if anyone has any tips, I'd be ever so grateful!
