This is precious, i have the moulds and tried a cake today with fondant, and it was a disaster. This is just precious!!!
This is wonderful!! I love your little bow on top.... I have to do 6 of these cakes this week , great idea!!! I love Kathy's molds
How do you put cake in the candy cake mold? Do you put in small pieces (chunks) of cake in the candy form? Nery nice job! This method is very neat. Thanks for sharing!! :princess:
Very nice! So neat and precise!
This is soooo cute, wonderful job.
I agree with Wendoger. Your cake is perfect. Can you tell us how you did this. Is it covered in fondant?
Adorable! Nice and smooth, flawless!
Thanks, everyone...It was done with candy melts using Kathy Scott's molds. It's a kit. You create a shell with any kind of chocolate, place a piece of cake in the center and top with chocolate. It's the easiest way to make mini cakes
Very pretty ! Where would I find Kathy Scott's molds ?
Great way to do these mini cakes. A few customers are asking about them for upcoming weddings, and I think I'm going to have to buy them! Since they're chocolate you could make tons of them in different colors well ahead of time!
Can you tell me where you purchased the molds, thanks
I love your mini cake. I would also like to know where to purchase this mold and kit. My sister's wedding shower is comming soon and I would like to make one for each bridesmaid. Please email at firstname.lastname@example.org thanks
You can get the kits here... (...) She sells the petit four kits as well!!
Found Kathy Scott's molds here: http://www.sweetexpress.net/ You're not going to believe where you wind up! :o
What happened??? I put her ebay store info in my post and now it's gone... Did I do something wrong??
ebay has it for $35 and $6 shipping. Is it worth it?
hi ya great work I was just wondering are the molds that make the chocolate shell, hard like plastic or metal or is it more of a rubber and how thick did you make your shell
Hi there, absolutely perfect job!! How do you do it? Is it all made of chocolate inside? Can you share to me ur success in making thing beautiful cake?
