My Second Time Doing Roses

My Second Time Doing Roses on Cake Central

this is a bavarian cream cake with champagne icing. I just wanted to practise my roses because the first time I didn't do very well. I still need to practise a lot on my roses(this is my second time doing roses) as well as my shell border but over all I don't think it turned out too bad....

Any and all constructive criticism is very welcome....please tell me how I can improve on my roses and my shell border. That way, I may be as good as the rest of you!

Thank you for looking!

I also think your roses look very nice! It might help if you decrease pressure on the tails of your shells, to give them more of a point at the ends. Great job!

roses are gorgeous... i would be happy if ours turned out like that they are so full. Regarding the shell border, I would suggest its the angle you are holding the bag.. it appears to be leaning... this is an easy fix.... the cake is very pretty you are doing well

I also think your roses look great. I am actually practicing them too for a cake I have to do on Sunday. I hope mine look as good as yours!

the roses look great! is your icing too stiff? you can get rid of the jagged edges if you make the icing a little thin. And like somebody else pointed out ease the pressure at the end of the shells to make it a little pointy.
