My Wedding Cake

I made this cake for our wedding on the 1 December. I should have listened when I was told never to make your own wedding cake! Although not what I had originally planned, it turned out ok, but more importnantly, tasted great! Choc mud for the bottom tier. Caramel mud for the 2nd tier. White chocolate cake for the third tier. Rainbow layer vanilla cake for the 4th tier. Vanilla cake fort he top tier.
Instead of saving the top tier for our anniversary, we had a 'signature cake', which was just a square fruit cake that we encouraged guests to write on with edible markers. It's in the freezer and the writing is still visiable. Still to see whether it will last the year!
