 100Th Birthday Cake W/scrolls And Fresh Roses  on Cake Central

This was the first cake I did after I finished my cake classes. I did all the scroll work and flower placement on location. The chocolate iced was white cake with rasberry filling and the ivory iced was chocolate cake with white chocolate pudding filling. We served each piece with a rose petal, it was elegant and tasted so moist. My family loved it!

What a wonderful cake. I am curious about how you serve cake from this stand. Are the cakes directly on the plates or are they on cake boards?

I believe I put them directly onto the stand because it was too difficult to cut a hole in the center of a ckebrd. Honestly I can't remember for sure. That is a great easy to use stand. There is a pole down the middle and you just unscrew the top and pull off the cake, cut and serve.
