Fantastic! Did you model the face by hand or using a mold? You continue to amaze us!
The face is modelled by hand, no molds used, it was done in gumpaste, i mistakenly said it was fondant ; )
That is absolutely fantastic. Wow. I have to go home and make a fairy cake now....
all I can say is WOW!!!!!
Modelled!? That is AMAZING! So much for my round little faces with slits for a mouth and tiny ball for a nose. LOL That's a work of art Nati.
Oh this is fantastic

My mouth is hanging open! This is AMAZING...I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
very nice - did you use food pens or color gel with a brush, looks great
WOW I really love this cake! You did such a great job ;-D
OMG! Just unbelievable! How did you make the hair?!
I love the hair....
Some people have asked how big she was, I measured her before she got taken away yesterday and she is 38cm tall, or 14.8 inches tall. The very bottom of her skirt is an 8 inch cake.
How did you do her face so perfectly?
I love it
you did a great job with the face modeling
Dydemus, i used gumpaste, and i covered it in white vegetable fat, and used a balling tool for most of the shapes. I actually made holes for the eye sockets, and let the face dry like that, i then put white paste into them and coloured them. Very time consuming.
Awesome! Wonderful work!!
She's beautiful (and creepy!!) Wonderful job sculpting!!
The features were painted with americolours mixed with lemon extract and a very thin brush. The thickest part of the hair were done using a sugacraft gun, the fridge was rolled by hand.
WOW!!!!!!! You have done such a fantasic job!!!

Such a cute cake. I really like it.
Your Gothic Fairy is great I would like to know how you got that navy blue colour. I had to do it for a wedding cake and no matter how I tried I could not get mine that colour.
boring, it's actually black, it looks blue because of the light
