Cookies For The Troops

I made these for my son in law who is in the Air Force and stationed overseas.......I had a problem with getting the icing smooth.....but I decided to send them anyway. I actually have never been a big cookie maker.....but I really liked the no fail cookie recipe. Now I just need to work on getting the icing to look better....oh well....its the thought that counts....right??

well you can look at it this way, because of the imperfections the sil's buds will feel right at home. cause they well are homemade with love

I'm sure they will love them!! I think decorating cookies is so much harder than cakes!!!

Irreguardless of smooth icing. They look yummy!
