Naval Air Station on Cake Central

Our school does an annual "signing" party with the nearby air station (they help out events). It is a buttercream transfer. I did the globe and circular parts on one, and the wings separately then put each on the cake.

great job! I am doing a similar cake and looking for instruction .. did you outline and fill with thin BC? how did you smooth the colour, corn starch?
