Cinderella Doll

My first time working with fondant--I had fun! It's not "perfect", but my daughter loved it anyway. I used clear glitter dust on the ruffles to make her sparkle.

I love it! It's too cute! Did you use a real barbie doll and take the legs off?

Oh you did a beautiful job!! It looks like you used the same Barbie I used for my grandaughter's 3rd b-day cake last October. The doll skirt pans don't make all that much cake so the additional base cake (to accommodate the legs) was just perfect. I really enjoyed doing it too. Glad you did too!!

I used a real Barbie doll and wrapped her lower body very well in plastic wrap. My daughter would be broken hearted if there wasn't a "real" doll in the cake. I could never just use a pick. lol!

It is very nice work. What couldn't be better for a little prinsess girl. And like IIj68 I would never use anything else than a real barbie doll.
